Al Mostakbal Modern Schools A Brighter Tomorrow

Primary

Strong foundations in reading, writing, maths, science and languages.

Overview

Primary students build core skills and confidence, supported by the STEAM programme and remedial classes where needed.

Curriculum

Our Arabic and languages schools follow the Egyptian Ministry of Education curriculum. In the languages schools maths and science are taught in English, with the Connect Plus English curriculum designed for languages schools. The international school (MMIS) follows the American curriculum in English, together with the national subjects the Ministry requires for Egyptian students: Arabic, Religion and Social Studies.

Subjects

Primary 1–3: Arabic, English, Mathematics, Religious Education, Physical & Health Education and Tokkatsu activities.

Primary 4–6: Arabic, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Information & Communication Technology (ICT) and Religious Education, plus Art, Physical Education, Music and Tokkatsu activities.

Teaching approach

We teach the Ministry’s skills-based curriculum and add the STEAM programme in equipped labs, Cambridge English assessment and remedial classes for students who need extra support (services listed in our brochure; they can differ between branches).

Assessment

Under the Ministry’s 2026/2027 rules each subject is out of 100: class notebook 5, homework 5, weekly assessments 10, monthly tests 15, behaviour and attendance 5, and the end-of-term exam 60. Students need at least 70% attendance. Religious Education is a pass/fail subject (70%) not added to the total, and Art, Physical Education, Music and Tokkatsu are graded pass/fail.

Activities

Art, physical education, music and Tokkatsu activities are part of the weekly plan. Each branch publishes its own events on the news and calendar pages.
